P. is hiring for the role of Construction Miner/Leader. There is an existing vacancy for this position. Employment Term This is a permanent role.
Job Type
This is a full-time role, consisting of 40 – 52 hours per week, pending applicable rotation. Work Location and Arrangements This position is for employment within the city of Greater Sudbury, ON Job Duties and Responsibilities As a Construction Miner/Leader, you will:
- Construct, install, maintain, and repair structures within a mining environment.
- Follow daily line-ups, safety procedures, and Ontario Regulation 854 Mines and Mining Plants.
- Support construction projects through reliable equipment maintenance. Qualifications Essential qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Trade certification in carpentry is also considered an asset.
- Experience in concrete preparation and placement is preferred.
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards. Preferred qualifications include:
- Underground Common Core modules (U0000, U0001, U0002, U0012).
- Underground Common Core Modules (U0080, U0085A, U0085B, U0085C, U0086) are an asset.
- 3 -5 years of experience working in an underground mine. Compensation The compensation range for the position is competitive and based on experience. Hourly base wages are to be between $20.00 to $30.00 CAD + hourly incentive bonus. Benefits and Perks
