Job Description:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal. The successful candidate would be responsible for:

1. Drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence
2. Managing case files and documenting all relevant information
3. Communicating with clients, courts, and other legal entities
4. Providing legal and administrative support to two lawyers
5. Other duties as required

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 1-2 years experience as a Legal Assistant/Paralegal preferably in property, corporate, and estate law
2. Ability to work independently and to deal with conflicting priorities and deadlines
3. Good technical skills, including knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications, Word, and Word Perfect
4. Able to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Excellent oral and written communication skills
6. Attention to detail and accuracy are a must
7. Knowledge in EsiLaw/Legal Accounting systems and/or bookkeeping would be an asset
