## Job Description# Application Support SpecialistWe are seeking an experienced **Application Support Specialist** with strong technical expertise in **UNIX/Linux**, **automation**, and **deployment pipelines**. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with **Feedhub**, **Autosys**, and a solid understanding of **file configuration and deployment processes**. This role supports modernization initiatives within the bank, including **GitHub Actions** and application decommissioning.* Provide application support across **UNIX/Linux/Windows** environments.* Manage deployment pipelines ensuring **Active Directory (AD)** integration and decommissioning of legacy applications.* Support and maintain **Autosys** and **Feedhub (Axway)** for scheduling and file transfers.* Perform upgrades on **AITs** in Windows environments.* Handle **certificate management**, including installation, renewals, and trust configuration across environments.* Collaborate on modernization projects leveraging **GitHub Actions** and DevOps practices.* Troubleshoot and resolve incidents using **ServiceNow**, **Splunk**, and **Dynatrace**.* Work closely with teams to ensure compliance with security and operational standards.* **Programming Skills:** Shell scripting, Perl, Java, Python* **Certificate Management:** Installation and renewal across multiple environments.- **Strong Knowledge & Experience in:** * UNIX/Linux/Windows administration * JBOSS application server * DevOps tools and methodology (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) * Cloud technologies (Azure) * Container platforms (CaaS, OpenShift)- **Working Knowledge of:** * Splunk, Dynatrace * ServiceNow, Incident Management, Jira/Confluence * Autosys/Tidal scheduling tools * Feedhub (Axway) – Managed File Transfer* Detail-oriented and adaptable to complex environments.* Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.* Ability to work independently and in a team setting.* Comfortable with hybrid work schedule.
