If you are a teacher who believes in creating a supportive online learning environment for students and who loves to collaborate and innovate, we are looking for you to join our team.We are seeking a teacher who has:Knowledge and experience in incorporating literacy skills across the curriculum;Willingness to work collaboratively as a member of an instructional team;A commitment to building relationships with students to create a safe, caring and welcoming online learning environment;A strong belief in parent involvement and communication including regular communication with home beyond the use of report cards;Strong organizational and understanding of online classroom pedagogy ; In depth knowledge of and experience with current outcomes based assessment practices and ability to develop multiple assessments in an online learning environment; An ability to ensure success for students with diverse academic, behavioral, emotional and/or curricular needs within the online classroom setting in a rural context;Alberta Teaching Certificate or eligibility for same;Salary will commensurate with qualifications and experience. This position will be a hybrid of 1 day a week working at Crossroads School in Fort Macleod and four days of teaching from home.
