At Loblaw, the PC Optimum loyalty program is at the forefront of delivering unparalleled value and personalized experiences to millions of Canadians. As part of our dynamic Loyalty team, you won't just analyze; you/'ll play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic evolution of Canada's largest and most beloved loyalty program.

As a Senior Analyst, Loyalty Strategy, you will be a critical contributor to the team responsible for identifying high-impact growth opportunities, cultivating strategic partnerships, and defining the long-term trajectory of the PC Optimum program. Reporting to the Director, Loyalty Strategy & Business Development, you will leverage your analytical prowess and strategic acumen to develop and execute program strategy, drive annual and long-term planning, and enhance the program through new, innovative partnerships. You/'ll bring a sharp intellect, a keen eye for market disruption, and an ability to translate complex insights into compelling, executive-ready recommendations. This role is essential for providing the rigorous analytical horsepower and strategic foresight needed to enhance the member experience for the millions of Canadians we serve.

What you’ll do

- Lead in-depth market, competitive, and customer trend analysis to identify strategic white spaces, emerging threats, and disruptive opportunities for the PC Optimum program.

- Drive critical components of the annual and long-term strategic planning cycles, translating high-level vision into concrete strategic initiatives and measurable objectives.

- Develop compelling, data-backed strategic narratives and executive-level presentations that articulate program direction, performance, and key recommendations to senior leadership and cross-functional partners.

- Formulate and refine strategic partnership frameworks, conducting comprehensive due diligence and market assessments to identify, evaluate, and prioritize potential loyalty partners.

- Build robust financial models, conduct advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis, and synthesize complex market intelligence to develop comprehensive business cases and strategic recommendations for new and existing partnerships.

- Actively contribute to strategic business development, fostering relationships with key industry stakeholders and identifying avenues for mutual value creation.

- Challenge existing assumptions and propose innovative solutions to complex loyalty and business challenges.

Does this sound like you?

- Strategic Experience: 2-4 years of progressive experience in a demanding analytical, strategy, or management consulting role, preferably within a top-tier consulting firm, in-house strategy team, or high-growth tech/retail environment. Experience in loyalty, retail, or consumer-facing digital products is highly valued.

- Intellectual Curiosity & Drive: A deep intellectual curiosity and passion for loyalty ecosystems, coupled with a desire to innovate, disrupt, and redefine customer value propositions within a complex, large-scale program.

- Executive Communication & Influence: Exceptional executive-level communication and presentation skills, with a proven ability to distill complex analytical findings into clear, concise, and persuasive strategic recommendations for diverse audiences, including C-suite.

- Analytical Mastery: Demonstrated mastery of quantitative and qualitative analytical techniques, including advanced financial modeling, statistical analysis, and synthesizing insights from imperfect or disparate datasets to build robust business cases.

- Cross-functional Leadership: A highly collaborative individual with a proven ability to influence cross-functional teams and senior stakeholders without direct authority, building consensus and driving strategic alignment.

- Education: Bachelor/'s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution. MBA or other advanced degree is an asset.

- Technical Acumen: Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel and PowerPoint for executive presentations). Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and strong SQL skills are highly desirable.
