Overview

Prairie Hill Farms Ltd. is a CFIA licensed food processing facility located 2.5 miles east of Picture Butte. We are looking for an experienced Production Supervisor to join our team

Responsibilities

- Setting Objectives and Communicating them to Employees
- Organizing Workflow, Overseeing and Coaching Employees
- Operating Packaging and Filling Equipment
- Ensure the Safe use of Equipment and Schedule Regular Maintenance
- Check production Output and Submit Reports on Performance and Progress
- Identify issues in Efficiency and Suggest Improvements
- Train New employees on GMP and follow production procedures
- Understand and Implement Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP) Systems
- Enforce Strict Safety and Quality Guidelines that meet Company Standards
- Maintain Production Records ensuring Accuracy and Validity of Information
- Monitor level of Supplies and handle Shortages
- Maintain Trusted Relationships with Suppliers, Customers and Colleagues

Requirements

- 2 years’ Experience in a Similar Role within a Food Processing Facility
- Experience using Various types of Manufacturing Machinery and Tools
- Strong Interpersonal and Communication Skills with the Ability to Lead a Team
- Excellent time Management and Multi-tasking Ability
- Meticulous Attention to Detail and Organization
- Self motivated with Ability to take Initiative and set up Systems & Processes
- Computer Competency with Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to Understand and Complete basic Calculations

We Offer

- Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with overtime as required (no weekends)
- $27 / hour
