Overview

We are currently looking for someone to join our dynamic Leadership Team in the role of Resource Manager. The Resource Manager will partner with the branch leadership team to support operational needs and will act as a resource to Community Support Workers ensuring effective delivery of patient services in accordance with CarePartners established policies and procedures, relevant legislation, government guidelines, the Collective Agreement and local contract requirements.

This position is Full TIme- Permanent, it will be working out of our Barrie, ON branch.

This is a Full-Time position. Hours of work will be Monday-Friday as well as participation in the Branch Manager On-Call, which includes evenings and weekends on a rotational basis.

- This position offers a competitive compensation grid, with salary progression based on hours worked and role-specific criteria.The salary range is $63,043.50 to $80,457.00,and placement within the grid will be determined in accordance with company policies and procedures, as well as the candidate’s knowledge, skills, qualifications, and relevant experience.

What The Role Involves

- Provide oversight and direction to CSWs in accordance with policies, procedures and Collective Agreement

- Champion and promote new and updated initiatives and act as a resource for new roll outs and ongoing compliance with policies and procedures

- Facilitate team meetings utilizing adult education principles

- Address, investigate and resolve a wide variety of concerns and complaints using the internal safety reporting system

- Partner with Safety Health Abilities and Wellness team on OH&S investigation and the implementation and management of return to work plans.

- Track and trend KPIs to meet/exceed benchmarks and improve overall performance

- Partner with the Personal Support Managers to identify current and future CSW capacity needs (Supply vs. Demand) and participate in the development of an action plan to satisfy requirements

- Interview, select, hire and employ an appropriate number of CSWs

- Lead Orientation and Onboarding of new employees

- Ensure compliance company policies, procedures and the Collective Agreement

- Consult with Labour Relations Advisor(s) as required

- Review performance data to monitor and measure branch productivity, goal achievement and effectiveness

- Participate in the development of action plans to ensure strategic goal accomplishment

What You Bring

- Education in a health care related field required; RPN/ RN designation required

- Previous health care supervision and management experience required

- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills

- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop a team

- Ability to communicate (oral and written) effectively and professionally with both internal and external patients

- Proven ability to work in a fast paced, multi task environment

- Exceptional critical thinking skills

- Excellent judgment, tact and diplomacy skills

- Experience working in a unionized environment is an asset

- Working knowledge of MS Office software application

- Ability to work non-traditional and on call hours

- Bilingualism is an asset

- Experience with InterRAI assessment tools is an asset

- Vehicle is required and some regular travel is required
