We are looking to add an experienced Sales Operations Manager to our Business Development team in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this role is responsible for ensuring that our sales team runs efficiently while managing sales data, creating reports, and setting goals for the sales team. An ideal candidate will possess strong business acumen and a solid track record in defining the strategy and operations for our sales team.

Job Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with company goals to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with company leadership to establish sales targets, forecasts, and KPIs.
- Analyze market trends, customer data, and competitive insights to inform strategic decisions.
- Support onboarding initiatives to develop a high-performing sales team.
- Design and implement effective training programs to enhance skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques.
- Continuously coach and mentor the sales team to ensure they are updated on current best practices and processes.
- Oversee the end-to-end sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Work closely with the sales team to identify bottlenecks and opportunities in the sales process.
- Monitor and analyze sales metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize performance.
- Build and maintain sales processes, tools, and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Manage CRM data integrity and ensure the team is leveraging tools to their full potential.
- Partner with marketing, product, and customer success teams to align sales initiatives with broader business goals.
- Continuously improve sales processes to increase efficiency and scalability.
- Prepare regular reports on sales performance and pipeline health for leadership.
- Identify and implement tools or technologies to enhance sales operations.
- Additional duties as occasionally required by your manager.

Qualifications:

- 4-6+ years of experience in sales operations, strategy, or management roles, preferably in a mining/technology environment.
- Proven track record of working with high-performing sales teams.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, technology, or marketing. MBA is desirable.
- Financial skills and business acumen to understand sales profitability and opportunities.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, CRM systems, and pipeline management.
- Exceptional leadership and coaching skills with a focus on team development.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
- Ability to communicate in English (verbal and written), knowledge of Spanish is an asset.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, results-driven, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
- Passionate about enabling others to succeed and fostering a collaborative team culture.
- Legally able to work in Canada.

$100,000 - $115,000 a year

The salary offered to the successful candidate will be based on their experience, knowledge, and skills they bring to MineSense, market data based on their location as well as internal equity. Keeping this in mind, the salary offered can be outside of the range posted.
