- You are uncomfortable working with detailed billing data or repetitive claim workflows

- You prefer isolated, individual work rather than close collaboration with providers and product teams

- You avoid fast‑paced environments where priorities can shift quickly

- You see billing as a back‑office task rather than a lever for practice growth and patient experience

- You are unwilling to dive into compliance requirements or payer rules

✅ What You’ll Do

- Submit claims promptly and manage denials or appeals to maximize clean collections

- Review and improve coding accuracy in collaboration with providers and internal documentation teams

- Identify reimbursement gaps and implement process improvements to increase collections

- Track and report key revenue cycle metrics, flagging risks or opportunities for operations teams and product development

- Serve as a bridge between practices and Meroka’s product team, surfacing recurring billing challenges that should be addressed in our platform

- Ensure billing activities comply with payer guidelines, healthcare regulations, and documentation standards

- Partner with practice teams to answer billing questions and unblock workflows quickly

- Has strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in billing and coding

- Navigates EHR and payer portal systems with confidence and speed

- Spots billing trends early and shares insights that inform both operational fixes and product improvements

- Brings proactive problem‑solving to resolve denials and keep collections on track

- Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively with providers, staff, and product managers

- Upholds compliance standards and ensures billing integrity while maximizing financial performance
