What You’ll Be Contributing

Reporting directly to the Divisional Director of Finance, this role provides analytical, reporting, and operational support across the business unit.

- Assist the Divisional Director of Finance in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, including updating monthly rolling forecasts and supporting data collection.
- Perform reconciliations and variance analysis to support management reporting.
- Support month-end close for assigned functional areas
- Maintain and update financial models under the guidance of the Divisional Director of Finance.
- Contribute to the preparation of management presentations and financial reporting packages.
- Support profitability and margin analysis at product, customer, or business-unit levels.
- Assist in implementing financial process improvements and BI/reporting tools.

Operational Responsibilities

- Partner with the Divisional Director of Finance and operations teams (sales, production, logistics, etc.) to gather data for KPIs and performance tracking.
- Extract, transform, and validate data from multiple systems to support decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain dashboards and reports for use by operations and leadership teams.
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and projects assigned by the Divisional Director of Finance.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting processes and identifying areas for streamlining.
- Participate in cross-training with Finance team members to ensure continuity of operations.

What Sets You Apart

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, technically strong in data handling and reporting, and eager to grow in FP&A by contributing to budgeting, forecasting, month-end activities, and operational support initiatives.

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–3 years of experience in financial analysis, reporting, or a related field.
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; Power BI or similar tools an asset.
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One, or equivalent preferred).
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work with large data sets.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, resourceful approach with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
