Responsibilities
As a Sales Development Representative, you will find, develop, and create new business opportunities for our sales team. You will be responsible for internally coordinating the leads you develop and ensuring each lead has a high-quality sales experience. You will work with leadership to prioritize your efforts against PowerSchool's key objectives and manage prebuilt personalized reports, communicating to your manager the progress against your efforts.
- Sourcing prospects and generating leads via cold-call
- Working directly with our Inside and/or Enterprise Sales teams to pass along qualified opportunities
- Developing a strong understanding of our prospects and learning solution-selling techniques
- Proactively engaging and prospecting new business opportunities and customers: approximately 50-60 outbound calls and 20-30 emails per day
- Consistently meet and/or exceed metrics as defined by the Sales Leadership Team
Qualifications
Qualifications include:
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent years of relevant experience
- Background in sales or lead generation a plus
- Mindset to be coached, trained, and mentored toward a successful software sales career
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- Strong skills in MS Office
- Desire to grow in a software sales career path

A reasonable estimate of the base compensation range for this position is $42,200 - $51,800 USD plus applicable commission. This compensation range is specific to the United States and it incorporates many factors including but not limited to an applicant's skills and prior relevant experience and training; licensures, degrees, and certifications; internal equity; internal pay ranges; and market data/range parameters.
