In this role, you will lead Program-Level Planning focused on long-term, strategic, annual / multi-annual planning and bridges with its customers for the Projects organization.

What you will do:
1. Proactively engage customers early in the cycle to establish multiyear plans to sequence work ensuring the most efficient and effective use of resources. This includes activities associated with development, scheduling, and estimating of work for the entire department and continual evaluation and optimization across the portfolio.
2. Responsible for the creation and implementation of planning processes for all Direct To Execution work types across the repeatable portfolio, which includes:
3. Developing multiyear plans for execution based on Sponsor Long Range Plans.
4. Liaison between multiple Sponsors and project execution groups. Chairing regular cross-functional conversations with Sponsors and other stakeholders to evaluate multiyear plans and discuss critical metrics as well as opportunities for value capture.
5. Performing pre-execution activities such as front-end engineering and site visits to develop shovel-ready projects.
6. Developing estimates for the long-range plans using benchmarks and providing key insights to the Analytics group for continuous improvement opportunities.
7. Providing guidance to execution Project Managers as well as the Sponsors on bundling and work sequencing opportunities.
Who you are:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. In Canadian locations, a Professional Engineering designation with APEGA is required.
2. 6 years of progressively detailed design and/or project management experience.
3. General understanding of pipeline and terminal operations.
4. Predict obstacles, challenges, and risks to proactively resolve mitigation strategies and innovative solutions to problems.
5. Effective interpersonal skills that include communication.
6. Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning, and leadership skills.
7. Role requires a valid driver's license, which will be verified with a motor vehicle check prior to hire.
Working Conditions:
1. Office environment.
2. Up to 5% travel.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

US ONLY:
Salary: Ranges from $94,300/year - $140,000/year USD

Savings:

Pension:
1. Regular full-time and part-time employees can participate in the plan immediately upon hire
2. Cash Balance Pension plan, Enbridge makes the contributions (not vested until after 3 years)
3. The plan is fully paid for by Enbridge, with no employee contributions
4. Pay credits are between 4% and 11% of eligible earnings, based on age and service
