Typical Day in the Role

- Project Leadership: Lead high-visibility transformational projects, including meeting facilitation, roadmap creation, action item tracking, and project launch coordination.
- Delivery Responsibility: Own and drive the delivery of specific projects, ensuring milestones and timelines are met.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with various teams and partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects, providing updates, conducting cost-benefit analyses, and helping build roadmaps.

Department Overview

- GWAM AI Delivery Lead:
- Focuses on the successful execution and delivery of AI use cases for the GWAM (Global Wealth and Asset Management) department.
- The role involves collaborating with teams across the organization, tracking delivery progress, identifying risks, and facilitating the timely resolution of any issues or blockers.

General Accountability

- Day-to-Day Support: Support the delivery of Gen AI use cases across GWAM, assisting with project planning, analysis, reporting, and other tasks.
- Fast-paced Environment: Experience with managing and executing projects in a fast-paced setting, ensuring attention to detail and the ability to analyze large data sets to propose optimal solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Scope & Constraints Management: Work with leadership to define project scope, identify internal and external constraints, and create plans to deliver use cases within the specified timeframes.
- Evaluation & Execution: Critically evaluate information from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, and create execution plans aligned with business goals and priorities.
- Stakeholder Management: Work with business units and stakeholders to document requirements, plan processes, and ensure alignment with business needs.
- Delivery Oversight: Oversee prioritized use cases, escalate issues when necessary, and manage stakeholder expectations.
- Leadership Support: Assist leadership in planning, reporting, and analyzing data related to Gen AI initiatives, focusing on continuous service and quality improvements.

Summary of IT Project Manager Responsibilities

- Project Management: Oversee project design, scope management, cost control, and performance reporting throughout the project lifecycle.
- Team Leadership: Manage project resources, including recruiting, motivating, coaching, and advising team members.
- Collaboration: Partner with functional teams to define business requirements and lead developers in delivering high-quality solutions.
- Testing & Rollout: Develop and manage test plans, ensure defect-free products, facilitate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and create rollout procedures.
- Cost-Benefit Analysis: Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to ensure project viability and success.
- Steering Committees: Present to project sponsors and steering committees to ensure transparency and alignment on project progress.

Must-Have Skills/Requirements

- Experience: At least 5-7+ years of proven project management experience, including team management and building skills.
- Fast-Paced Environment: Ability to thrive and deliver results in a high-pressure, fast-paced setting.
- Motivation: Proactive and driven, able to take initiative and quickly start delivering results.
- Execution & Communication: Strong ability to execute, take initiative, and communicate effectively with various teams.
- Project Management Expertise: Proven experience in building project deliverables, creating roadmaps, and performing cost-benefit analyses.
- Education & Certifications: Preferred: MBA or other advanced degrees. Certifications: PMP or PMI certification is a plus but not mandatory.
