The district enrolls approximately 22,000 students (K-12) and employs over 3800 dedicated staff. This is a 3 Block TEMP position in Business Education at the Secondary Level. Teaching blocks consist of the following for semester 2: Accounting 11/12, Marketing 10 and Computer Studies 9/10. Immediate start date.The successful candidate for this position must have current academic and professional preparation as well as teaching experience in Business Education at the secondary grade levels. A demonstrated ability to work with students from diverse backgrounds and a wide variety of learning needs and styles, highly motivated students as well as struggling learners, will be required. Recent work experience must reflect a commitment to collaboration and a willingness to work with colleagues in a professional and supportive environment. At Palmer all teachers support and implement our school behavior expectations through 'Palmer Pride'.
