These roles provide hands-on experience in cybersecurity and software engineering, and are ideal for students who are curious, driven, and eager to contribute to meaningful work.This posting also serves as a pipeline for future roles in 2026. In your cover letter, please indicate:* Your preferred role (Cybersecurity or Quality Engineering)* Your availability for the 2026 calendar yearBoth roles are full-time for the duration of the term and will be posted internally and externally.**Cybersecurity Governance, Risk & Advisory****Duration:** 4 months **Location:** Hybrid (Markham office preferred)**What you’ll do:*** Respond and triage inquiries from team communication channels* Support security training and awareness initiatives* Collaborate with stakeholders on business impact evaluations* Work with advisors in security engagement requests and risk evaluations* Support penetration testing coordination and remediation tracking* Assist in maintaining cybersecurity policies and standards**What you’ll bring:*** Enrolled in a cybersecurity-related program* Strong interest in cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST CSF, IRAM2)* Familiarity with security concepts and technologies* Excellent communication and organizational skills* A curious mindset and eagerness to learn**What you’ll gain:*** Real-world exposure to cybersecurity advisory and risk management* Experience with corporate security processes and frameworks* Insight into penetration testing and policy development* Collaboration with a cross-functional cybersecurity team**Quality Engineering****Duration:** 8 months **Hiring Manager:** Kashyap Patel (TBC) **Location:** Hybrid (Markham office preferred)**What you’ll do:*** Develop and maintain software applications and automation test frameworks* Collaborate with test engineers and participate in code reviews* Troubleshoot and debug software issues* Build and enhance automation for web, API, and data testing* Assist in requirements gathering and solution design* Contribute to documentation and defect triage meetings**What you’ll bring:*** Enrolled in Computer Science, Engineering, or related program* Basic knowledge of Java and/or Python* Familiarity with automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) and JIRA* Strong problem-solving and communication skills* A collaborative mindset and attention to detail**What you’ll gain:*** Hands-on experience in software development and testing* Exposure to automation frameworks and agile methodologies* Opportunities to contribute to real-world tech projects* Mentorship and learning in a fast-paced engineering environment**Additional Information**Please note that we may use AI tools to help us through the recruitment process.
