Nicola Similkameen School District is accepting applications for qualified BC Certified Teachers. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: · Demonstrate successful primary/intermediate/secondary level teaching experience. · Possess strong interpersonal, communication and collaborative skills. · Have the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with staff in a team setting. · Have the proven ability to meet the needs of diverse learners through the application of differentiated instruction. · Have an understanding of Aboriginal culture and be willing to learn and integrate Indigenous teachings into the curriculum. · Valid B.C. Teaching Certificate and familiarity with B.C. curriculum. Nicola Similkameen School District is working to ensure an inclusive, diverse and representative workforce. The starting salary for this position ranges from $60,090 - $109,520, with placement on the range based on length of service and qualifications under the collective agreement.
