- Lead and mentor the engineering and technologist team, ensuring alignment with capital and maintenance planning processes.
- Deliver annual activity and budget plans for transmission assets, including capital and O&M work.
- Build strong cross-functional relationships with Transmission Operations, System Integrity, PMO, Engineering, Finance, and Regulatory teams.
In year 2, you will:
- Refine and optimize multi-year capital and maintenance plans, incorporating learnings from Year 1.
- Lead development of long-term rate filings and ensure alignment with financial and regulatory targets.
- Implement programs and projects, based on asset performance data and drive execution of high value investments to minimize risk to the organization.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including process redesigns and business case development for new investments.
- Communicate asset performance, investment plans, and risk mitigation strategies to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Support Asset Management enhancement initiatives including the improvements of Computerized Maintenance Management System (e.g. SAP) and Capital Investment Planning Tools (e.g. Copperleaf).
What it takes:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited University.
- 8 to 12 years directly related experience.
