Job Summary
HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Healthcare Administrator to oversee and manage the daily operations of our healthcare facilities. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality care by streamlining administrative processes, managing staff performance, and maintaining regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare administration, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to make data-driven decisions that improve patient outcomes and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of healthcare facilities or departments.
- Manage medical and administrative staff, including recruitment, scheduling, performance evaluations, and training.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies.
- Develop, monitor, and manage budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records of patient data, billing, and healthcare operations in accordance with HIPAA and privacy standards.
- Coordinate between departments and external partners to ensure continuity of care and services.
- Implement and optimize electronic health record (EHR) systems and other healthcare technologies.
- Address patient concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Prepare and analyze operational reports to support decision-making.
- Lead quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Healthcare Administration, Public Health, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
- Strong understanding of healthcare laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Proficiency in health information systems (EHRs), Microsoft Office Suite, and healthcare management software.
- Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Leadership ability with experience in managing diverse teams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Experience
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in a healthcare administration or healthcare management role.
- Proven track record in managing operations within a clinical or hospital setting.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.
Working Hours
- Full-time position
- Standard hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Some flexibility may be required based on healthcare facility needs)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare regulations (e.g., HIPAA, OSHA, CMS guidelines).
- Strong financial acumen and ability to manage healthcare budgets.
- Ability to lead with empathy and handle sensitive situations with discretion.
- Competence in strategic planning and policy development.
- High emotional intelligence and conflict resolution capabilities.
