Acadia Broadcasting has an exciting opportunity for you to join our Halifax Team as an Advertising Consultant, representing our local brands of Surge 105, Hot Country 103.5, RoundTable, and a soon-to-launch product

In this new role, you’ll provide cutting edge marketing strategies to local businesses through radio & digital advertising solutions. If you’re not afraid to knock on doors, meet new people, learn the stories behind local businesses, and offer guidance to help them grow and succeed - we want to hear from you.

Your success will come from:

- Proactively pursue new business opportunities, building lasting partnerships that support community and client success.

- Build and maintain meaningful, long‑term relationships with clients.

- Develop creative, customized marketing solutions that address client needs.

- Work flexibly across environments—office, home, and on the road.

- Ensure accurate and timely processing of account receivables.

- Bring a self‑starter mindset, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

What we are looking for:

- A friendly, engaging individual who excels at relationship building.

- Experience in marketing, media, and/or digital sales (an asset).

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.

- A competitive spirit and desire to succeed.

- Tech‑savvy, with comfort using social media platforms such as LinkedIn.

- Post‑secondary education in sales or marketing (an asset).

- A valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle (required).

Please note that this is a hybrid position and is expected that the incumbent resides in‑market.
