Who we are
You know those big cities that still feel like small towns? Where everyone's friendly and helps each other out? That's like Doane Grant Thornton. Except here we're all professionals and there isn't a mayor or a general store. What we're trying to say is that we're a large and growing professional services firm that still feels like a community. We employ over 3000 people across Canada, and we truly care about our colleagues, our clients and the communities where we work and live. That's what's most important to us. We're building a thriving organization that's purpose-driven and still want to remember what your favourite milkshake flavour is.

Our special culture shines through when we have the opportunity to connect in person. That's why we're working in a model where teams are required to be together in the office 4 days per week.

We are looking for a highly organized and Creative Design Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating incoming design projects, working closely with designers, clients, and other stakeholders to ensure that all design requirements are met, and that the final product aligns with the client's vision. Your role will involve traffic initial design requests, ensuring all details are provided, assigning to the appropriate designer, managing project timelines, budgets, and resources, and working closely with the brand manager and design specialists to ensure all design work adheres to company standards and industry best practices.

The successful candidate will have excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills, a keen eye for detail, and a strong understanding of design processes. You should be able to work effectively under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines. If you are passionate about design and have a proven track record of successfully coordinating design projects, we would love to hear from you.

As a Creative Design Coordinator your responsibilities will include:

1. Coordinate and manage design projects from concept to completion
2. Work closely with designers, clients, and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met
3. Ensure all design work adheres to company standards and industry best practices
4. Provide guidance and support to the design team throughout the project lifecycle
5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution
6. Identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges in the design process
7. Maintain accurate project documentation and records
8. Continuously seek opportunities to improve design processes and workflows
9. Manage and resolve any conflicts or issues that arise during the project

Doane Grant Thornton
If you're a bit like us, you're driven to connect with how others are feeling and thinking. Here we walk in others' shoes before taking action. Just imagine being part of a team that puts "we before me", where flexAbility is a mindset, and where you trust your colleagues to have your back. At Doane Grant Thornton, you'll work with inspiring leaders who support your development, both personally and professionally. This is a place where your insatiable curiosity enables you to think, see, and hear from a variety of perspectives, a place where every day is different and having the courage to grow is part of who you are. And when all this comes together, well that's when the magic happens
