Reporting to the Manager of the Occupational Health, the Occupational Health & Attendance Support Program Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of Sinai Health & Attendance Support Program and is accountable for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of standardized practices, policies, and procedures that relate to the Attendance Support Program. In this role you will: Standardization of Practices, Polices & Procedures - Review, update, standardize and execute the Occupational Health and Attendance Support Program policies and procedures, such as the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in collaboration with key stakeholders to ensure legal requirements are met and best practices are implemented - Develop educational and communication materials regarding Sinai Health’s Attendance Support Programs for key stakeholders including managers, labour partners, and employees Administration of the Attendance Support Program - Coordinate the Attendance Support Program, ensuring it is followed consistently and appropriately - Monitor and audit appropriate use of sick time benefits as it relates to Sinai Health & Attendance Support Program - Provide quarterly reports (and ad hoc reports when requested) to unit managers regarding departmental and individual employee absenteeism - Track employee progress, benchmarks, and exemptions in the Attendance Support Program - Prepare individual Attendance Support step letters for employees at various steps in the Program in accordance with the policy - Track and oversee compliance in administering step letters to employees in accordance with the policy - Perform other duties consistent with the job classification as required Job Requirements Mandatory - Successful competition of a College or University diploma/degree in a relevant discipline from an accredited educational institution. - 2 years of experience in a large and complex organization (health care experience is an asset) - Applicants with proven equivalent and related training and experience may also be considered Preferred - Understanding of Occupational Health & Safety legislation Skills and knowledge - Superior technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook) - Strong data/analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy - High level of composure; ability to work under pressure. - Ability to maintain strict confidentiality - Excellent organizational and prioritization skills - Excellent interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills - Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history If this sounds like you and you feel ready to advance your career within health care, apply now and let us know why you would be a great addition to our team Open Date 9/25/2025 Posting Deadline 12/19/2025 All applications must be submitted by no later than 4:00pm of the posting deadline date.
