Proactive Problem Solver Needed
We are seeking a licensed Millwright Mechanic to provide timely and effective maintenance services to our production, lab, and office staff. Your role will involve minimizing downtime and ensuring machinery and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Ideal candidates will have experience with air and electric power tools, welding torches, milling machines, lathes, drill presses, band saws, pipe threaders, and related equipment. Under the guidance of the Maintenance Supervisor, you should possess excellent troubleshooting skills and enjoy the challenge of repairing and maintaining mechanical systems.
Shift Available
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday or Tuesday to Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Key Responsibilities:

- Repair breakdowns on equipment and machinery safely, effectively, and promptly to reduce downtime and costs.
- Perform preventative maintenance across the facility.
- Complete projects such as planning, designing, or modifying machinery, installing piping systems, and rebuilding equipment.
- Design and fabricate parts for machinery, including welding, machining, and carpentry.
- Conduct regular safety checks on systems like fire protection, emergency exits, and equipment.
- Assist team members with breakdowns, projects, and preventative maintenance; train line operators on machine setup; source parts for equipment.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Perform electrical duties as qualified and comfortable.

Qualifications:

- Industrial Millwright Mechanic 433A certification with at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to repair problems efficiently.
- Ability to identify potential issues and implement corrective and preventative solutions.
- Experience operating skyjack, genie boom, and lift trucks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for effective communication with team members and contractors.
