Aplin is proud to partner with a premier window and door manufacturer to find a dedicated Sales Representative or Business Development Rep. This full-time role is crucial for expanding our client's dealer network in Edmonton, the surrounding area, and Northern Alberta. Known for their best-in-class customer service and exceptional warranties, our client's products truly stand out in the industry.

This new position has been created to support their growth, offering you the chance to be part of an innovative, people-first culture. As a remote position, the successful candidate must be based in or near Edmonton.

What They Offer:

- Opportunity to build and lead a team once established.
- Remote position (must be based in Edmonton or nearby).
- Base salary: $70K–$75K (total compensation with bonus exceeds $100K, negotiable based on experience).

Requirements:

- Minimum 5 years of experience in a related industry, preferably windows, doors, or building materials.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on relationship-building.
- Excellent follow-up skills and a commitment to maintaining client relationships.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a growth mindset and a passion for identifying new business opportunities.
- A desire to become a subject matter expert on our client's products and innovations.
- Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities:

- Develop and maintain relationships with potential new businesses and existing customers.
- Actively pursue dealers, lumber yards, exterior specialists, contractors, and builders who require vinyl windows and doors for residential and light commercial projects (including apartment complexes, new builds, and renovations).
- Attend and represent the company at trade shows as needed.
- Effectively manage your schedule to maximize productivity.
- Travel to meet with potential clients and grow the business.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies within agreed timelines.
- Provide timely follow-ups to all client requests and inquiries.
- Represent the company as a manufacturer of high-quality products, ensuring every customer receives exceptional service.
