THE POSITION

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to join our Nova Scotia or New Brunswick team.

Responsibilities

- Assist the project manager and superintendent with overall project performance, including cost, schedule, safety, quality, and field technical issues.

- Collaborate with the superintendent and project manager to mobilize resources for both our team and subcontractors.

- Expedite the delivery of materials and equipment from suppliers and subcontractors to meet or exceed project schedule requirements.

- Obtain any additional information needed from consultants and the project owner to complete the project.

- Work with the superintendent and subcontractors to resolve any identified deficiencies.

- Assist with pre-commissioning and commissioning processes.

- Support the overall project closeout, including archiving documents, and coordinating maintenance and warranty details.

Qualifications

- Commitment to delivering projects safely while championing the company’s safety policies and procedures.

- At least 2 years of commercial construction experience.

- Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, consultants, clients, and internal team members.

- Positive attitude with strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.

- Strong results-driven mindset with attention to detail.

- Ability to travel as required.

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, or a community college diploma in civil engineering, construction management, or architectural engineering.

- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and a strong aptitude for adopting new technology.
