Inventa is a leader in the design, creation and execution of innovative brand experiences, from large-scale events and national experiential tours to grassroots local executions. Now in our 29th year, we are at the forefront in the experiential marketing and event industry.

We are currently on the hunt for a passionate, energetic and experienced Account Coordinator This role is specific to our Experiential Marketing Team and will be based in Vancouver. Successful candidates will know their way around large‑scale tours, event activations, guerrilla campaigns and can put together outstanding client reports

Please note: This role is specific to our Vancouver office. We are currently working on a hybrid office model where all in‑office team members are expected to work a minimum of 3 days in office.

You will also be required to be at the activation site, perform field visits and supplier site visits as required.

What we from you

Support the team of Account Executives and Account Managers with administrative tasks like meeting minutes, payroll entry and review, shipping and asset management, sourcing and logistics, scheduling, drafting purchase orders, weekly and other client reporting. Yes – there is paperwork

Attend client meetings and play an active role, offering solutions and input where appropriate. We want you to bring your creativity and courage to the table

Regular field visits and working in the field directly with a team of field agents. Motivated in keeping field teams on track live and in person as required.

Event venue and activation checks as required. This includes being the primary local contact for venue and site contacts such as shopping malls, event venues or festival and event contacts.

Plan and contribute to local field staff training sessions as required. This includes booking training venues, scheduling staff and presenting content live and in person.

Local supplier and storage visits. This includes managing events equipment inventory at a local storage facility and quality control checks on events equipment orders from local suppliers.

Be the point of contact for in‑field teams including Field Supervisors and Brand Ambassadors. Yes, some of these calls will be after 5pm and on weekends

Provide in‑person feedback and coaching for the teams in‑field

Be detailed oriented, and if you don’t know the answer on the spot, you know where to find it

Active problem‑solving and solution oriented. Yes, we want you to think about the problem before it occurs and help find creative solutions

Know your way around the social media landscape and understand its role in events. Your network will come in handy

Support in the planning and execution of field staff training sessions

What we’re looking for

Post‑secondary education related to marketing from an accredited university/college is preferred or an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered

1‑3 years of experience in an office environment

Strong project management skills: time management, organization, planning, and problem solving. Account Coordinators may have multiple projects running at the same time

Experience with national events and experiential marketing considered a major asset

Detail‑oriented, analytical thinking

Communicative, strong team player, and collaborative Account Coordinators must have the ability to partner with various stakeholders and client groups

Can efficiently work independently to proactively complete tasks

Proven ability to effectively work in cross‑functional teams

Understands the ‘big picture’ with respect to the event or campaign

Holds a valid driver’s license with access to a vehicle

Proficient with the Microsoft Office 365 suite of products

Willingness to learn and grow Quick to implement feedback when provided

Salary Range: $48,000 - 57,000 CAD per year
