Applications are invited from teachers with BC Certification for the following teaching position: Eagle View Elementary School, Port Hardy, BC 1.0 FTE Temporary - Grade 2/3 Commencing: ASAP until March 31, 2026 or return of the incumbent, whichever comes first The successful candidate will have the following qualifications: primary teaching experience; strong classroom management skills; the ability and energy to work with multi-age groups and meet the needs of students with a range of learning styles and abilities using a variety of teaching strategies; strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills to communicate with students, staff, and parents in a team oriented approach to teaching and learning; strong formative assessment practices; experience with RTI (Response to Intervention) systems; ability to integrate technology to enhance student learning; strong interest in innovation and inquiry; and ability to embed local Indigenous culture and ways of knowing into teaching practices. The starting annual salary for a full-time School Teacher position ranges from $64,368 to $112,637, with placement in the range based on length of service and qualifications in accordance with the collective agreement.
