GETTING TO KNOW THE POSITION

The Inside Sales Account Specialist mission is to manage the full sales cycle and order processing of accounts while providing a high standard of customer service.

HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT

Customer Contact

1. Maintain critical business relationships with customers and create new business opportunities.
2. Respond to customer needs and ensure timely communication and follow-up.
3. Analyze business performance and deliver recommendations to drive sales growth.
4. Resolve issues between the business and customers, escalating as necessary.
5. Channel normal product returns through the customer complaint reporting process.
6. Convey competitive information and specific details of customer product demands to appropriate staff.

Customer Quotations

1. Prepare customer quotations based on established pricing guidelines.
2. Follow-up on customer quotations and obtain feedback.
3. Highlight quotation opportunities to management and outside sales team.

Order Entry and Follow-Up

1. Enter orders as received, ensuring accuracy of pricing and quantity.
2. Proactively advise customers of late orders.
3. Expedite and follow-up on customer orders to keep customers informed.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE ROLE?

1. Applied post-secondary education.
2. 2-3 years B2B experience.
3. Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
4. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
5. Proven business and operational experience.
6. Relationship-building capabilities to source and develop opportunities.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Demonstrated problem-solving and negotiation skills.
9. Client-focused, responsive, service-oriented, persuasive, and flexible.
