The Vehicle Inspections and Lot Coordinator is a hands‑on position that works both indoors (computer work/communicating with customers) and outdoors (moving, cleaning, and inspecting vehicles) and must be able to work in all weather conditions. Provides exceptional customer service, administrative support, and meticulous lot maintenance. Contributes to the success of the team by utilizing organization and computer skills as well as the ability to meet the physical demands of the outdoor work. Juggles multiple priorities, meets deadlines, and, overall, contributes to EBlock’s mission of creating the best digital auction experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm EST

What You Will Do:

- Take initiative and perform detailed work accurately, ensuring projects are carried through to completion.

- Move, clean, and inspect vehicles. Detail vehicles to meet company standards. Shovel snow as needed.

- Utilize excellent communication skills to establish and maintain positive relationships with diverse stakeholders. Ensure clear and tactful messaging via phone, email, and in person interactions.

- Provide comprehensive administrative support, including file organization, document preparation, and statistical compilation.

- Ensure an exceptional customer experience by being proactive, hands‑on, and ready to jump in to do whatever it takes to support the team.

- Troubleshoot issues and work collaboratively with the team to offer and implement solutions that benefit EBlock and the customer.

- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters with professionalism to include judgment, tact, and sensitivity.

- Demonstrate proficiency in various software applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite and web‑based programs.

- Meticulous attention to detail regarding paperwork retention, efficient filing systems, data input, and analysis.

- Adhere to safety protocols and use appropriate equipment for personal protection.

- Ensure dependability via regular and predictable attendance.

- Inspect vehicles onsite and/or offsite as needed.

What You Will Need:

- Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.

- 2-4 years’ experience in the automotive or transportation industry preferred.

- AutoGrade or vehicle inspection experience preferred but not required.

- Must be at least 21 years of age and possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

- Problem solving aptitude to meet challenges with resourcefulness and innovative approaches.

- Proven success to work independently with minimal supervision while working in a team environment.

- Able to drive both manual and automatic transmission vehicles.

- Working knowledge of web‑based applications and automotive inspection tools preferred.

- Must be detail‑oriented, with the ability to provide exceptional customer service, and be dependable.

Work Conditions:

- Outdoor work in varying weather conditions

- Some indoor work related to general administrative duties

- Physical Demands: Ability to work outside and be on foot for extended periods of time. Ability to walk medium to long distances during the work day.

To provide pay transparency, the base pay for this full‑time position is $20.00 - $22.00 and may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
