Position Summary:

Reporting to the General Market Sales Manager, this position is responsible for generating equipment sales in new accounts, and penetrating existing accounts within the Manitoba and Saskatchewan region. As a trusted advisor to your customers, you'll serve as more than just a sales rep, but a consultant and expert on all things foodservice including industry trends, menu and business development, new products and equipment innovations.

What you'll do:

1. Research, contact, qualify, prepare and present proposals to acquire new accounts.
2. Manage day-to-day relationships with existing customers by developing high-trust advisor relationships.
3. Identify short-term and long-term sales retention and penetration opportunities.
4. Collaborate with the sales department and other teams to meet targets.
5. Create sales presentations and demos for potential clients.
6. Manage contracts.
7. Address client complaints or concerns.

What you'll need:

1. Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills; we're looking for the perfect fit for our team.
2. Desire to travel (great selection of road trip music strongly encouraged).
3. Results driven with a proven ability to succeed in achieving sales targets.
4. Be a DSL brand ambassador to internal and external stakeholders.
5. Be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive projects forward with minimal supervision.
6. Be a goal setter with an ongoing commitment to personal growth, learning, and skill development.
7. Demonstrate the ability to set individual goals, monitor the progress of objectives against targets, and develop corrective actions or recommendations to ensure goals are achieved.
8. University Degree / College Diploma.
9. Completed Professional Selling Skills or equivalent sales skill development course.
10. Embrace the opportunity to jump in and contribute in a hands-on kitchen environment.
11. Embrace a growth mindset and be receptive to feedback and guidance for continuous improvement.
12. Have a cool nickname or be prepared to receive one.
