Stay to experience a progressive career path with an employer that is dedicated to providing a positive working environment, along with competitive compensation and benefits.Additional information regarding the Board is available on the Board’s web site at.POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of the Principal or designate, replaces the absent Administrative Assistant or Library Assistant, ensuring the efficient operation of the School Office or Library as well as specific functions required by the school or Board Offices. Involvement with students, staff, parents and stakeholders occurs on a daily basis QUALIFICATIONS Ontario High School diploma or equivalent required. A valid Driver’s license and the willingness and ability to travel for school board related business required. College diploma in a secretarial/office administration discipline preferred. Equivalent qualifications and/or expertise as determined by the Human Resources Manager may be considered. Demonstrated experience in a Windows environment and proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite required. Willingness and ability to acquire skills in data base, accounting, banking and other related software applications is essential. The following attributes are necessary: excellent office skills; ability to deal with tact and sound judgement in oral and written communications with students, staff and the public; the ability to organize and complete work assignments with minimum supervision; and the ability to work independently in a team environment.
