Shape the future of IT asset management as an IT Asset Care Specialist at our Chalk River site. Engage in optimizing technology investments and enhancing asset tracking processes to drive success.
This role involves managing the full lifecycle of IT hardware and software assets, ensuring asset compliance, and developing strategies for outdated resources. You will work closely with senior management to formulate purchasing recommendations and monitor trends to aid in effective asset utilization.
Key Responsibilities
• Establish procedures for sign-in and sign-out of assets
• Investigate volume purchasing opportunities for cost savings
• Conduct thorough software asset audits and reconciliation
• Enter asset information into the configuration management system (CMS)
• Communicate effectively with the team and stakeholders
Requirements:
• College diploma or university degree in a related area
• Experience with asset management and optimization
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of IT asset lifecycle and procurement strategies
• Ability to perform audits and identify process improvements Drive asset management excellence in Chalk River while maximizing your strategic impact.
