At Carta, our employees set out on a mission to unlock the power of equity ownership for more people in more places. We believe that the problems we solve today unlock the opportunities of tomorrow. As an Analytics Engineering Manager, you'll work to:

- Scale a team of highly technical Analytics Engineers
- Lead your team in developing flexible and scalable data models to simplify our complex source data for internal analytics
- Assist with Product initiatives to bring data marts to customers
- Partner with Data Science teams to identify, document and create cross-company core metrics / marts
- Partner with Data Engineering teams on core infrastructure selection and procurement for various self-serve and data modeling needs
- Partner with Business stakeholders to enable consistent reporting on internal financial, accounting and opportunity data
- Establish testing framework for any changes to the core models
- Constantly identify opportunities for providing self-service tooling to our internal partners

The Team You'll Work With

You'll be joining our Analytics Engineering Team.

Our mission is to enable data-driven decisions across Carta by collecting accurate data, building scalable infrastructure and delivering advanced analytics. We believe in building a strong data foundation to ensure data quality and to promote self-service across the company. We partner closely with Cartans across the company, especially Data Engineering and Data Science. We constantly think about how we can improve and grow.

About You

Successful candidates in this role will always look for a balance between fast delivery and building for scale. You don't follow the status quo but look for ways to improve how we do things. You are able to talk to technical and business users and explain your work, and are able to be a good partner to your team and to your customers. Building relationships is a priority. Even though our toolstack (Airflow, DBT, Snowflake & Looker) are a good start, you will always be in the know on the latest and greatest technology we could utilize, making appropriate recommendations across the stack. You concentrate on automation and self-service. Most importantly, you can scale a highly-productive team of technical analytics engineers who are excited to solve the problems we have in front of us.

We are an equal opportunity employer and are committed to providing a positive interview experience for every candidate. If accommodations due to a disability or medical condition are needed, please connect with the talent partner via email.
