We are looking for a dedicated Risk Analyst to join our team in Markham. In this role, you will play a key part in identifying, assessing, and managing risks that could impact the organization. Your expertise will help ensure compliance with policies and regulations while supporting the development of effective risk management strategies.

Responsibilities:

• Help maintain and enhance the ERM framework to ensure it remains effective and relevant.

• Assisting in leveraging an enterprise risk framework to create robust internal processes. This would be done through the development of policies, governance, controls, and emerging risk management.

• Contribute to the development of a roadmap and annual plans for closing gaps that includes governance structure development and escalation protocols.

• Assist in regularly reviewing and updating risk management policies and procedures.

• Provide support in continuous training and awareness programs to ensure all staff are aware of their roles and responsibilities in managing risk.

• Assist in developing and implementing metrics and reporting systems to monitor the effectiveness of risk management activities and identify areas for improvement.

• Promote a culture of risk awareness and proactive risk management throughout the organization.

• Provide analytical support to the development, implementation and maintenance of decision models such as scorecards.
