As the Finance Lead for one of the companies within the Canada Cartage Group of Companies, you will play a pivotal role in managing daily financial operations and driving strategic decision-making. You’ll oversee budgeting, financial planning, and analysis for terminal operations—ensuring fiscal responsibility and identifying opportunities for cost optimization. By collaborating closely with terminal leadership and executive teams, you’ll help align financial strategies with organizational goals, support long-term profitability, and contribute directly to sustainable growth. You’ll also be responsible for producing accurate customer invoicing, ensuring a high standard of service delivery and accountability. Schedule: Monday to Friday What You Will Do • Manage the monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting process • Participate in the preparation of financial statements, variance analysis and other reports for internal and external stakeholders while ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness of financial reporting • Monitor expenditures and identify variances from the budget • Implement cost control measures and strategies to optimize profitability • Respond to requests and inquiries from management • Financial accrual / month end reporting What You Will Bring • 3-4 years’ experience in a similar role • Basic knowledge of general accounting practices.
