Responsibilities:
• Process employee payroll accurately and on schedule, ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Utilize payroll and accounting software systems, such as ADP Workforce Now and Ceridian Dayforce, to manage payroll tasks effectively.
• Maintain and update employee records, including time sheets and attendance data.
• Collaborate with the human resources team to address payroll-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit payroll reports, ensuring proper documentation and record-keeping.
• Assist with the administration of benefits and deductions as part of payroll processing.
• Monitor and ensure adherence to provincial and federal payroll regulations.
• Support system upgrades and integration efforts related to payroll operations.
• Provide excellent customer service to employees regarding payroll matters.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices in payroll management.
