Vice President, Account Executive – Business Development The Business Development Account Executive is responsible for acquiring new clients and developing the commercial portfolio in the corporate risk insurance sector.In collaboration with regional management, they identify prospects with risk management and risk transfer needs, while building a relationship of trust and delivering high-quality service.Applicants must be legally authorized to work in Canada. At Aon, you contribute directly to growth in a collaborative environment that values innovation, integrity, and excellence.Skills and experience that will lead to successUniversity degree or advanced training in insurance or risk management, or an equivalent number of years of professional experience.A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the insurance field.French / English bilingualism required due to frequent interactions with clients, colleagues, or partners based in Quebec, other Canadian provinces and/or internationally.Proven experience in selling insurance solutions or B2B services, ideally in commercial risks.In-depth knowledge of the insurance market and products related to corporate risks.Excellent skills in prospecting, negotiation, and closing sales.Strong interpersonal skills, autonomy, and a strong sense of initiative.Ability to work in a team and collaborate with technical experts.Commercial insurance license (AMF license).At least one of the following designations will be considered a strong asset: CRM, CIP, FCIP, or CAIB.How we support our colleaguesIn addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage an inclusive workforce.
