Qualifications

- Graduate of a Medical Lab Technology Post-Secondary Program

- Current/eligible registration with College of Medical Lab Technologists of Ontario

- Medical Lab Technology experience. Experience considered to be an asset includes sample collection, preparation and handling of specimens, recording and reporting results. Performing routine testing in chemistry, hematology, urinalysis, serology and coagulation. Competent in ECG administration

- Meditech experience an asset

- Proficient with computer applications

- High level of initiative and self-direction

- Ability to work with minimal supervision and as part of a collaborative team

- Demonstrated behaviour consistent with the CMLTO Code of Conduct

- Strong organizational, critical thinking and problem-solving skills

- Excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills

- Excellent attendance record is imperative

- Must be able to take call
