Your career is an investment that grows over time Wealthsimple is on a mission to help everyone achieve financial freedom by reimagining what it means to manage your money. Using smart technology, we take financial services that are often confusing, opaque and expensive and make them transparent and low-cost for everyone. We’re the largest fintech company in Canada, with over 3+ million users who trust us with more than $100 billion in assets. Our teams ship often and make an impact with groundbreaking ideas. We're looking for talented people who keep it simple and value collaboration and humility as we continue to create inclusive and high-performing teams where people can be inspired to do their best work. We are hiring for a Product Marketing Manager to support our Investing lines of business. This role will contribute to driving the growth of Wealth Management, including our pre-built portfolios and advisory services. If you apply for this position, financial/investing experience - whether at a fintech or a more traditional player- is a big plus. About the Role We are looking for a strategic and client-obsessed Product Marketing Manager to support our Investing businesses. In this role, you'll help shape how millions of Canadians think about investing by turning product innovations into compelling narratives and powerful go-to-market strategies. You’ll be responsible for deeply understanding our clients, market trends, and competitive landscape — and translating those insights into messaging, positioning, and campaigns that drive growth, engagement, and client trust. Working closely with a Product Marketing Lead and cross-functional teams (Product, Growth, Brand, UX, Data Science, and more), you’ll drive the success of major product launches and initiatives from end to end. You’ll play a pivotal role in creating integrated marketing plans, influencing product roadmaps, and uncovering new growth opportunities for Wealthsimple to better serve and grow our client base. You will thrive in this role if you’re excited to manage executional details while also thinking strategically about how to scale a product, challenge assumptions, and drive long-term business impact. In this role you'll have the opportunity to: - Support on our biggest Go-To-Market initiatives: ensuring that the launch runs smoothly by managing the executional details across multiple stakeholders. This includes collaborating with stakeholders as we build positioning into marketing materials across all touchpoints, managing legal reviews, ensuring our data science teams are set up to track the success of our campaign, and summarizing & sharing out results. - Lead smaller Go-To-Market initiatives: learn the ropes and gain experience in forming the launch strategy for your own campaigns, from shaping positioning and go-to-market plans, to leading execution across all teams and touchpoints. - Drive more client insights: develop and execute client research initiatives, and dive into our internal data to find patterns and growth opportunities, and then champion those learnings across relevant teams to drive action. Become the voice of our clients and trusted advisor to inform product positioning, brand differentiation, content creation and external communications - Lead new experiments: design, execute and track results for new experiments (we love to find scrappy ways to test if a bigger bet is worth making) aimed at suggesting ways to change our fundamental product and marketing operations - Help us develop a deeper understanding of the market and ecosystem (including clients, competitors, policymakers, news media, and the government) by taking on regular market and competitor scans - Stay on top of emerging trends in the investing and fintech industries, proactively proposing new opportunities and thought leadership content to keep Wealthsimple at the forefront of innovation. - Act as an AI-native marketer by synthesizing client insights from diverse internal sources (sales, CS, product) and leveraging AI tools to enhance competitive tracking, sharpen positioning, and introduce innovative approaches that upskill the team and inform strategy. What you’ll bring: - 5+ years of marketing experience in hyper-growth technology organizations - For the Investing role: experience in the finance/investing industry—whether at a fintech or traditional player—will give you a big leg up - Fluency with AI tools that boost your daily productivity, keeping pace with Wealthsimple's AI-native culture where teams use AI to increase the quantity, quality, and velocity of their output - A track record of developing go-to-market plans, shaping positioning, and translating strategy from docs into live campaigns - Comfort diving into customer behavior data to find pockets of demand and growth, assess campaign impact and incrementality, and translate results into actionable recommendations - Strong cross-functional collaboration skills—you bring out the best in others and enable them to do their most impactful work - Experience managing interdepartmental relationships, keeping stakeholders aligned on the latest information, answering questions quickly, and ensuring coordinated, on-time delivery across channels - Sharp attention to detail, ensuring all marketing materials (yours and others') are accurate and aligned with product positioning - A bias toward action and the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments - A growth mindset—you actively seek opportunities for the business, your discipline, and yourself - A challenger mentality that questions "we've always done it this way" assumptions in pursuit of continuous optimization - An optimistic approach to problems: "Challenge? Good. Let me find an opportunity to solve it" Why Wealthsimple?
