Job Description

In this Solution Architect role, under the supervision of the development department, you will be responsible for:

- Design and implement innovative, complex systems that meet clients’ business needs.

- Take responsibility for the software architecture and lead a team of developers in project delivery.

- Actively participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle.

- Perform detailed technical design of application or technology solutions, ensuring alignment with the overall architecture.

- Collaborate with project managers and account directors to define plans and schedules.

- Assess technology options and provide recommendations based on cost, risk, and benefits.

- Maintain direct communication with clients to manage expectations and ensure satisfaction.

- Contribute to project time estimates in collaboration with the sales team.

- Participate in requirements analysis, documentation, and definition of acceptance criteria.

- Travel occasionally to client sites for specific assignments.

Desired Profile

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills:

Technical Skills

- In-depth knowledge of architecture concepts and the complete solution design and deployment lifecycle.

- Proficiency in development frameworks: .NET (C#), ASP.NET and Visual Studio tools.

- Strong skills in HTML, JavaScript, Vue.js, XML, and Web API.

- Experience with Microsoft Azure and SQL Server 2019.

- Solid understanding of Cloud-Native technologies.

- Strong interest in AI-powered development tools (Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, etc.).

- Familiarity with Agile development methodology (an asset).

- Modeling languages such as UML and ArchiMate (an asset).

Expérience and Qualifications

- College diploma in Computer Science (DEC) or a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar position.

- Fluency in French (written, spoken, comprehension) is essential. English is an asset, as some clients are English‑speaking only.
