Assistant to the Chief Representative of Canada office

" Canadian applicants" To provide support to the Chief Representative of Canada Office in implementing international relations objectives, via the International Office, including effective, efficient, and sustainable operations of the office, management of stakeholder relations, maintaining all types of communication, and assistance with roadmap implementation. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES: Administrative Operations - Ensure all administrative operations of the office are conducted to the highest standard, amongst other areas, to ensure all reporting procedures and processes delegated by HQ are conducted in a timely manner and adhere to all set deadlines. - Manage all types of communication and support with marketing and social media outreach. - Assist the full cycle implementation of project-based activities via the International Offices. - Support in the organization of all business facilitation platforms, such as seminars, conferences, group discussions, roundtable, forums and others. - Provide assistance to the Chief Representative of Representative Office, when and if needed. Information Security - Adherence to the information security policies/processes/program and for reporting any security breaches or incidents to the direct management. Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures - Contribute to the identification of opportunities for the continuous improvement of departmental systems, policies, processes and practices considering ‘international leading practices’ to improve productivity and operational efficiency. - Provide critical input to support the development of Department’s systems, policies, processes, and procedures to meet business requirements. - Ensure team members comply with all Department’s policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Quality, Health, Security, Safety and Environment Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and relevant quality, health, safety, security and environmental procedures and controls across the Department to guarantee employee safety and delivery of high-quality services. Reporting Ensure that all departmental reports are prepared timely and accurately and meet Dubai requirements, policies and quality standards. Others Other relevant tasks of the job purpose when, and if required Monthly Salary 3,000 - 4,000 USD QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: Minimum Qualification Bachelor’s degree in international business, Business Administration or other relevant fields Minimum Experience and Skills 1 - 2 years of progressive experience in corporate affairs, external relations in various huge organizations or business Business research experience Must have business awareness and basic knowledge about local country’s business community Fluent in English, and country languages (read, spoken, written) Excellent knowledge in MS applications. Excellent team skills. French Language COMPETENCIES: Communication Skills PR Management Events Management Local / International Business & Trade Acumen Business & Trade Promotions Management.
