Join Our Team as an Experienced Accounting Technician

Are you an experienced Accounting Technician looking for a new opportunity? Fulcrum Group is seeking a skilled Accounting Technician with at minimum three years of hands-on experience to join our growing team. If you have a passion for numbers, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of accounting principles, we want to hear from you This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization and work alongside a supportive team.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepare client correspondence, technical reports, client summaries, and presentations outlining engagement findings, facts, and highlights.
2. Assist in the planning, organizing, and controlling of engagements to meet deadlines including the effective and efficient wrap-up of the engagement.
3. Act with the highest levels of integrity while always observing regulatory guidelines, fulfilling your due diligence, and handling confidential information with discretion.
4. Regular communication with the management team as well as clients.
5. Attend training courses to further develop accounting knowledge & progress toward obtaining CPA Designation.

Essential Qualifications Required:

1. Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accounting Technician.
2. Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., Caseware, Tax Cycle, iFirm).
3. Proficiency with bookkeeping software (e.g., Xero, QuickBooks, Sage).
4. Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
5. Experience with payroll processing, accounts payable/receivable, and bank reconciliations.
6. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
7. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
8. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
9. Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure accuracy in financial records.
10. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Office software.
11. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

Beneficial Qualifications:

1. Knowledge of financial analysis and budgeting.
2. Familiarity with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
3. Experience in handling audits or external reporting.
4. Working in a team environment.
