About Us

Job Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all quality control operations in our steel fabrication and piping shop.
2. Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance programs to meet CWB, ASME, and industry standards.
3. Conduct inspections and audits to ensure compliance with welding and fabrication specifications.
4. Lead and manage a team of inspectors, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of quality metrics.
5. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
6. Ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies.
7. Maintain quality records, welding procedure qualifications (WPQ), and welder performance qualifications (WQ).
8. Serve as the primary liaison with third-party inspectors and regulatory bodies.
9. Train and mentor employees on quality control procedures and best practices.

Qualifications & Requirements

1. Minimum 6 years of experience in quality control within a steel fabrication and piping shop.
2. Minimum CWB Level 1 Certification (required).
3. NACE Coating Inspector Certification (considered an asset).
4. Strong understanding of welding codes, ASME standards, and NDT methods.
5. Experience with fabrication inspection, weld mapping, and material traceability.
6. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
7. Proficiency in quality management software and reporting tools.
8. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
