## Job Description# Senior Developer - Electronic Trading**Location:** Downtown Toronto, 1-2 days a week in office* Design and develop robust, scalable software solutions for Electronic trading systems.* Devise and implement efficient algorithms and data structures tailored to low-latency environments.* Create comprehensive test cases to ensure software stability and reliability.* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to research, design, and implement system enhancements.* Communicate effectively with operations teams regarding new features and strategy behaviors.* Investigate and resolve production issues, performing root-cause analysis independently.* Translate business requirements into technical solutions with minimal guidance.* 8+ years experience as a Developer or Software Engineer* Strong programming skills in Java and/or C#/.NET* 5+ years experience with electronic trading systems and capital markets* Knowledge of capital markets products such as Fixed Income and Credit Products* Knowledge of highly scalable and low-latency architectures* Understanding of functional programming, and building applications from scratch
