Essential Responsibilities

- Lead daily paint crew operations with a focus on safety and PPE compliance
- Conduct FLHAs, toolbox talks, and weekly safety meetings
- Coordinate with Shop Foremen, track materials, collect samples, and complete QC forms
- Ensure accurate production reporting and daily paint reports
- Delegate tasks, manage shift timelines, and maintain organized work areas
- Oversee equipment cleaning, tire checks, and scheduled maintenance

Qualifications

- Experience in pavement marking or highway maintenance is an asset
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills with the ability to manage stressful situations
- Tech Savvy working with aps and inputting data into various systems
- Ability to work long shifts and manage physical field demands
- Commitment to safety above all else
- Valid Class 1 or 3 with air brake endorsement
- Clear 3 yr drivers abstract
- Ability to pass pre- employment drug and alcohol testing

Work Conditions

- Start Date: April 13th – Spring/Summer Seasonal work : April- October
- 12 – 14 hrs/day
- Travel, shift work, on-call availability, and night shifts required during operating months
- Accommodation/Meal allowance/ LOA provided
- Work locations span provincial and municipal highways across Alberta
- Preference given to local candidates given the nature of work
