We are seeking a Marketing Data Analyst to support the client’s Canadian Personal & Business Banking (P&B) Marketing organization. This role will partner closely with marketing stakeholders to deliver actionable insights through reporting, modeling, campaign analysis, and data deep dives across Canada and the U.S.

This role provides analytics and reporting support to marketing partners by leveraging customer, campaign, and channel data to improve targeting, optimize spend, and enhance campaign effectiveness across multiple digital and traditional channels.

The successful candidate will be comfortable working independently in a fast‑paced environment while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to translate business needs into technical and analytical solutions. This role is ideal for a data‑driven marketing professional with strong SQL, Power BI, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud experience.

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid – 3 days in office, subject to change)

Contract Length: 6 Months, possible extension

Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Experience Level: Intermediate

Pay Rate: Up to $55 CAD/hour

Responsibilities

- Gather, consolidate, and validate data from multiple sources including CRM systems, web analytics, social media platforms, email marketing tools, and paid media channels.

- Perform audience segmentation and customer behavior analysis to support targeted and personalized marketing strategies.

- Analyze marketing campaign performance and deliver insights and recommendations to optimize results and budget allocation.

- Apply statistical and analytical techniques to forecast campaign outcomes and measure effectiveness.

- Support data discovery initiatives and exploratory analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.

- Build technical specification documents to support customer journey development.

- Develop and maintain journey and campaign reporting dashboards using Power BI.

- Translate business and marketing requirements into clear technical and analytical requirements.

- Collaborate with marketing, sales, product, and technology partners to align insights with business objectives.

Qualifications – Required

- 2+ years of hands‑on technical experience using SQL and Power BI.

- 1+ year of experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC).

- Bachelor’s degree in a technical or analytical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Data, Analytics).

- Proven experience supporting marketing campaigns through data analysis and reporting.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to non‑technical stakeholders.

Qualifications – Nice to Have

- Prior experience in a Marketing Analyst or similar analytics role.

- Previous experience within a financial institution (client experience preferred).
