Supported by a strong in-house accounting team that includes seven designated CPAs, we are looking for a dynamic Senior Accountant who is eager to make an impact and contribute to our continued growth.

The Role

Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will be responsible for:

- Performing detailed financial and analytic analysis

- Preparing and reporting banking transactions

- Providing backup support for accounts payable functions

- Preparing annual occupancy cost reconciliations

- Preparing year‑end working paper files for limited partnerships (under both ASPE and IFRS) and related T5013 tax slip documentation

- Preparing corporate income tax T2 returns

- Assisting with audit preparation, including compiling and providing audit testing materials

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of progressive experience preparing year‑end working paper files

- Proficiency in T2 corporate tax return preparation

- Ambitious, self‑motivated professional with a proven ability to meet deadlines

- High attention to detail

- Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills

- CPA designation (or currently in the final stages of obtaining the designation)

Beneficial Experience

- Proficiency with CaseWare software

- Experience with related‑entity accounting

- Familiarity with ASPE and IFRS reporting standards

- Exposure to the commercial real estate industry
