Business Systems Analyst – Varicent ICM (Contract)

Hybrid – Toronto | 1 day/week in office

We’re hiring a Business Systems Analyst (BSA) to support the end-to-end delivery of projects involving Varicent Incentive Compensation Management (ICM). This is a fantastic opportunity to act as the subject matter expert on Varicent, working closely with business stakeholders, developers, and a third-party service integrator.

What You’ll Do

- Gather and analyse business requirements related to incentive compensation workflows.
- Collaborate with a Service Integrator to contribute to Solution Requirements Documents (SRDs).
- Coordinate between business, QA, and technical teams to ensure accurate solution delivery.
- Document and manage integration points between CRM, Varicent ICM, and downstream systems (e.g., HR, general ledger).
- Support user access, performance metrics, reporting, and dispute management within the ICM platform.
- Run intermediate SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
- Ensure clear technical documentation for both business and IT audiences.

What We’re Looking For

- Hands-on experience with Varicent ICM or similar incentive compensation platforms.
- Strong understanding of end-to-end compensation workflows and system integrations.
- Proven ability to deliver projects from requirements through to implementation.
- Experience working in a technical BSA capacity across business and tech teams.
- Intermediate SQL skills (joins, selects, data analysis).
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Nice to Have

- Background in banking, insurance, or industries with complex compensation structures.
- Experience reporting into a technology organisation.
