Application Support Analyst - Finance ( Procure-to-Pay and Record-to-Report)

You'll Do:

The Application Support Analyst, Finance Systems, is responsible for supporting stable, consistent business operations enabled by a suite of applications. This role serves as the primary point of contact to address user issues, monitor application health and assist in troubleshooting efforts.

Reporting to the ERP Systems Manager, Finance Systems, this position is focused on the month-end, payables and reporting processes and related applications. Working closely with the finance teams, they will develop and maintain a strong understanding of business processes and how these processes are executed in various applications.

- Monitoring and supporting daily transaction processing.

- Troubleshooting issues and achieving resolution.

- Creating Oracle EBS user accounts and administering user role provisioning.

- Providing information to application support teams to facilitate root cause analysis and prevent future application errors, data discrepancies, and integration failures

- Supporting application enhancement and business process improvement by collaborating with business analysts and cross-functional teams to address business and adoption issues, including user experience, data flows, and business process flows

- Communicating application problems and issues to key stakeholders, including management, development teams, end users, and unit leaders.

- Supporting month-end and quarter-end closing activities by ensuring transaction continuity across integrated systems through reconciliation and completeness monitoring.

- Supporting segregation of duties compliance by performing quarterly analysis

- Maintaining existing knowledge base articles and document new articles to ensure timely issue resolution.

- Providing new hire training for end users and ongoing training for new application functionality and best practices.

- Supporting projects to enhance and optimize applications, implement applications at additional business units and integrate new applications to achieve business outcomes

- Creating test plans and execute functional testing of new features, bug fixes or other application updates.

- Leading User Acceptance Testing of new features, bug fixes or other application updates.

- Participating in disaster recovery and business continuity testing.

You have:

- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field.

- 3-5 years of experience supporting ERP applications

- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with Oracle EBS 12.1.3

- Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience with implementation and configuration of Oracle EBS Financial and Procurement products, including General Ledger, Payables, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Payments, Inventory, Purchasing, and Property Management

- Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Oracle development tools

- Prior experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.

- Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage work across multiple teams and projects

- Competitive base salary with an annual bonus opportunity. The typical salary range for this position is $75,000 - $105,000, and varies depending on location, education, and relevant experience.
