Here, you will make an impact by: Diagnosing, repairing, adjusting, testing along with performing various preventative maintenance tasks on a variety of units predominately mechanically focused.Developing and demonstrating product experience/skills, to act as a resource for customers, sales, and technicians.QAD systems usageDocumentation for end-to-end task traceabilityCollaboration with colleagues to support/ level load workload as required in various operational functionsIdentify problems and improvement opportunities pertaining to quality and productivityStrong emphasis on maintaining a safe and healthy work environmentYour Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: Post-secondary education in a mechanical or technologist field (completed and verified prior to start)Two (2) years of experience in manufacturing and/or mechanical repair in a private, public, government or military environment.Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: Hands-on experience with mechanical equipment repairAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environment while ensuring accuracy, safety and completeness of workExperience operating common tools and test equipment primarily used in mechanical equipment repair (metalworking tools)Technical knowledge with interpretation of mechanical drawings relating to equipment assembly and/or repairProficient personal computer skills in MS-Windows and OfficeExperience with, or ability to learn, ERP systems including QAD and SalesforceExcellent verbal and written communication skillsAbility to organize and prioritizeWorks well independently and as a team memberAbility to build and foster relationships with internal and external clientsAbility to develop knowledge in alternate technical, administrative and interpersonal skills to fulfill a multitude of tasks as requiredWork location: On-Site London ONTravel: May include up to 5% Relocation Assistance: Is not authorized 3M Canada welcomes and encourages applications from people with disabilities.
