Group23 Sports Medicine is seeking a Sports Medicine Retail Associate to join our team. Working within a collaborative sports medicine clinic, you'll help patients and athletes select braces, supports, recovery products, and rehabilitation equipment while supporting retail operations and delivering an exceptional patient experience. This role supports retail operations, inventory management, and e-commerce fulfillment while assisting patients with product selection and basic brace fitting. Working closely with clinical and administrative teams, the Retail Associate ensures retail services are aligned with patient care, contributing to an efficient clinic environment and a high standard of service in support of Group23’s purpose, mission, and values. Duties and Responsibilities
- Support Group23's patient-centered care model by delivering a professional, informative, and consistent retail experience
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients, athletes, and visitors in a clinical setting
- Assist patients in selecting appropriate braces, supports, recovery products, and rehabilitation equipment, ensuring alignment with clinician recommendations where applicable
- Assist patients with product selection, ensuring alignment with clinician recommendations where applicable
- Perform over-the-counter brace fittings and provide product guidance within scope
- Collaborate with physiotherapists and clinic staff to support patient care and product needs
- Maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality in all patient interactions
- Act as a culture carrier, modelling Group23's purpose, mission, and core values
- Accurately process transactions using POS systems and maintain proper documentation
- Open and close the retail area, including cash handling, balancing, and daily setup/tear-down
- Maintain accurate records related to sales and transactions
- Support off-site or event-based sales opportunities as assigned Inventory Management
- Monitor inventory levels and advise leadership of critically low stock
- Receive, organize, and restock inventory
- Support inventory counts and reconciliation processes
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory, transactions, or orders
- Provide suggestions for inventory improvements based on patient needs and sales trends Retail Space & Product Standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked retail space aligned with clinic standards
- Develop and maintain a strong working knowledge of all clinical retail products, including braces, supports, and therapy-related items and their applications to confidently support informed recommendations
- Ensure required products are available and accessible to support clinicians
- Address customer concerns or elevate issues appropriately to management
- Support e-commerce operations, including order processing, packaging, and pickup coordination
- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of online orders
- Maintain accurate records related to inventory movement and e-commerce orders
- Coordinate with clinic staff to ensure smooth patient pickup experiences and timely follow-up on orders Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) Knowledge
- Understanding of Group23’s purpose, values, services, and how retail supports the overall patient experience
- Familiarity with privacy, confidentiality, and IPAC/OHS standards relevant to clinic-based retail environments
